Hello, Bible 📖 ✍️

There are too many excellent books available for us to read, with a variety of genres and themes to pick from. And yes, we may have read them all, but if we never open and read the Bible, the greatest book ever written, what's the point in reading, and gaining knowledge?

If you know all the famous writers and authors but nothing about the author of the Bible, from whom everything in heaven and on earth originates, what is the point of existing?

It's possible that you are familiar with and have even memorized the most renowned quotations or sayings from popular authors and writers, but if you don't know anything about the Word of God that provides life, since your Bible has always been closed, what use is life?

It is nice to be brilliant and all- knowing, but it is not sufficient. We must be aware of the truth and the wisdom from above. Human wisdom (or intelligence) is shallow and limited, and it expires when we die. However, the wisdom obtained from reading and studying the Bible transforms us in ways that go beyond our mental state, touches the core of our being, and change us for all eternity. Wisdom from above, the wisdom of God, is not consumed, does not end, and will stay forever and ever. 

We make a conscious effort to visit every library and bookstore wherever we are only  to find engaging books to read and buy, yet in our abode, at the tip of our fingertips, we haven't even bothered to look at or take the time to sit down and read the best-selling and most precious book of all time, which contains The Truth, The Way to Heaven, and offers a sensible life. Sad but true.

Please read your Bible for a purposeful existence.

Dear Lord🙏
Thank You for keeping me secure in this world through Your Word of Promises and Redemption on the Cross because You love me so deeply. I must admit that I am finding it hard to read your holy book. Please help me overcome this emotion. Take away my apathy for all You have spoken. Eliminate every barrier the enemy tries to place in my path so I can read Your Book. Jesus, You suffered and died so that I might live. You are the reason why I am alive, well-provided for, and sustained. I owe You everything. Draw me near You and make me love You just as You love me. I want to know You more, Lord, so please help me read Your word, grant me the motivation to make the Bible a part of my daily life, In Your Name, Jesus, amen🙏
