The TRANSFORMER✍️

When we hear the word Transformers, we think of the movie with the concept of robots that shift into cars. We recognize iconic characters like Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Megatron, Mirage and others. But, may I introduce to you the greatest Transformer that isn't found on screen, but from eternity. His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He doesn’t changes form; He transforms broken lives into new creations.


And unlike fictional characters whose transformations are scripted and limited, the transforming power of Jesus is real, personal, and well-documented. So if you have ever doubted His Lordship, or if your faith feels weak or uncertain, I invite you to turn to the Bible. Within its pages are powerful testimonies of lives transformed, ordinary people whose hearts, minds, and destinies were completely changed by a personal encounter with Christ. Like:


- Peter who denied Jesus but ended up dying for Him.


- Paul who persecuted believers, yet went on to proclaim Christ across the world.


- The disciples, who once left Jesus, yet ultimately chose to live and eventually lose their lives for Him.


As we reflect on Peter, Paul and the disciples, let me ask: Where do we see ourselves among them? Are we like Peter, who stumbled yet was restored? Like Paul, whose life was transformed from opposition to bold proclamation? Or like the other apostles, who faithfully followed even unto death?


There is no career or pursuit more sensible than being a living testimony of God’s goodness. To witness how Christ transforms lives from being worthless to becoming worthy, from purposelessness to being purposeful...is a fulfillment that surpasses any earthly achievement. This is why God created us: to take part in the Great Commission of sharing the good news of salvation with all people and to point others to the life-changing love of Christ. In serving Him, we discover not only the joy of giving but the profound purpose for which we were made to exist.


May we live a godly mission-driven life;

Indeed, only Jesus can change people's lives;

Praise and honor to our beautiful Savior...Jesus Christ🙏

Rewinding the 'Rewind'🎬✍️

I'm impressed at how they incorporated the Lord Jesus Christ ("Lods") into the movie sequences of "Rewind," an MMFF entry for 2023. The film did well in showcasing God as He truly is. Isa-isahin po natin. As of this writing and while you are reading this blog, we both have what we need: a beating heart, oxygen to breathe, the strength to move, and the reason to exist, all because of God, The ' Life-Giver ' (Acts 17:28). We have family, jobs, homes, and everything else because of Jehovah Jireh , the God who provides and supplies us with all things. In the movie, John (Dingdong Dantes) has these blessings: a good wife, a son, a friend, a career, a big house, etc. But he prioritizes his work over his family and, worst, fails to recognize God as the source of all he has. And since God is the Giver of everything, HE also has the authority to withhold or even take all away from us for His own sovereign purpose, which leads me to another facet of God...⬇️ Go...
