When The Earth Quakes Big Time✍️

Image
The thought of “The Big One,” a massive earthquake that could strike at any moment, is enough to stir anxiety in anyone. It reminds us how fragile our world is. Buildings can crumble, landscapes shift, and life can change in an instant. In the face of this kind of sudden upheaval, it's natural to feel powerless. We can’t always prevent disaster, and we can’t always predict what will happen next. And that makes us afraid. Fear is real, and natural, especially with the things/events we have no control over but it doesn’t have to rule us. When fear creeps in, remember this: ➕ There is a refuge where your heart can rest. -Psalm46:1 ➕ There is a presence that never leaves, even when the world abandons you. -Psalm 27:10 ➕ There is a strength available that isn’t your own, but will carry you.- Psalm28:7 Jesus said: “In this world you will have trouble --- BUT ---  take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33) Therefore, even when the Big One is approaching, or has already struck—we...

The God who created us is still the same God who: ✅ Loved humanity enough to send His Son (John 3:16), ✅ Delivered Israel from slavery in Egypt and rescued them from all their enemies around them. ✅ Promised to give them the land with flowing milk and honey ✅ Gave David victory over Goliath, ✅ Shut the mouths of lions for Daniel, ✅ Walked in the fire with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ✅ Provided for Elijah in the wilderness, ✅ Defended His prophets and saints, ✅  Walks with us today and will continue to do so forever. He stays the same: almighty, abundant in loving kindness, compassionate and faithful all throughout generations. The same Jesus who: ✔️ Forsake His throne in Heaven, went down to earth for a rescue mission to save mankind  ✔️ Walked with all people: young and old, rich and poor, healthy and sickly, teaching them about the Kingdom of God, ✔️ Healed the sick, ✔️ Forgave the sinners, ✔️ Who humbly washed the feet of His disciples… ✔️ Cleansed people with unclean ...

SEARED CONSCIENCE

Image
When we watch exposés of millions in stolen funds, irregularities in flood projects, and shameless displays of wealth by heartless DPWH contractors and officials greedy for public funds, we, filipinos had these desperate cries in one accord: “Mahiya naman kayo!” “Nakakatulog pa ba kayo?!” “Makonsensya naman kayo!” Here’s the painful truth though:  Yes! They sleep soundly, without guilt, no shame, or fear while the nation’s outrage grows louder. Even if they will be subjected to exhaustive and intimidating interrogations by the Senate, the Blue Ribbon Committee, or any other government agency in pursuit of sentencing; or if we banged on the gates of Discaya or vandalized their house walls outside and we hold endless rallies in Edsa or Luneta or elsewhere, expressing our frustrations over their deep-rooted corruption, our actions will only be futile. The depth of their evil ways, the extent of their deception reveals their deadened conscience. Question: How could they do such a thing...

"I-POST ang katotohanan kahit na itatwa ka nila bilang kaibigan o i-block/kanselahin ka nila o kahit pa magalit sila sayo. Nandito tayo upang pakanin ang mga TUPA 🐑 at hindi ang mga kambing🐐 --- A Christian or a believer of Christ is expected to express boldness in sharing biblical truth, even when it’s unpopular or results in rejection.  📌POST THE TRUTH.  As a Christian, you are encouraged to speak or share the biblical truth—whether online or on social media—regardless of how others may respond. It's about standing firm in your convictions and not watering down the message to keep people comfortable or to just please them and tickle their ears. 📖"Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? ... If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ." — Galatians 1:10 📌EVEN IF THEY UNFRIEND YOU OR BLOCK YOU OR HATE YOU.--It's accepting the social consequences of boldly proclaiming Christian truths—especially on contro...

Ginoong Batas-Militar✍️

Romeo Brawner Jr.🤔 ...You may know him as the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines—frequently seen in interviews and national news, leading the country’s defense. ...But I knew him long before the headlines. Before the accolades, cameras, and rank, he was simply “Sir Brawner”—or “Omet,” as those close to him fondly called him—my computer teacher in high school at formerly known as St. Anne Academy(now St. Mary's) in Santa Ana, Manila. He also once led the military division at Camp Crame, where my nephew served. Nearly 30 years later, seeing him again—this time on television—fills me with pride. My former teacher is now a national figure. And every time his face flashes across the screen, I smile and say, “Teacher ko 'yan!” And I know my classmates from St. Anne feels the same way. Sometimes, the most remarkable stories aren’t written in history books—they’re lived by people who once stood quietly in our classrooms. One evening at home, while we were watch...

What are your thoughts? Pilita Corrales died, followed by Nora Aunor, then Pope Francis, and Hajji Alejandro. Are they old enough to die, and so they died?  But How about Barbie Hsu, the famed ShanCai of Meteor Garden TV Series, who died at the age of 47 earlier this year? And not to forget Rico Yan, who, at the age of 27, was discovered dead? Many more young people have died from a variety of reasons such as accidents, sickness, unfortunate events and so on. This implies the Truth that old age is never guaranteed. No one can avert death, no matter how young or healthy or wealthy you are. HENCE, I SAY💬 Every minute, someone leaves this world behind. We're all in "the queue," not knowing the time. We will never know how many people are ahead of us. We can't move to the bottom of the row. We can't get out of line. We just have to trust the Divine With what awaits us from far beyond. So WHILE YET ALIVE👼 A-BIDE in God, for Apart from HIM, you are nothing. B-ELIEVE.....
